You cannot bill if it does not meet the criteria to this point. Below are the instructions to write a non-bill note.
Nonbill Notes:
These can be done from the calendar or from the chart. If done from the chart, use ‘New Templated Clinical Note’ and use the appropriate code below.
- Facility: Boise-PSR/Nampa-PSR or Boise-CM/Nampa-CM (depending on original appointment type)
- Primary Code:
- General: NB: Non Bill
- No Show: NS: No show
- Transportation No Show: TNS: Transport No Show
- Late Cancel: Late Cancel: Late Cancel appointment (Less that 24 hours notice)
- Early Cancel: EC: Early Cancel (More than 24 hours notice)
- Provider Cancel: PC: Provider Cancel
- In Hospital: IH: In Hospital
- In Jail: JAIL: In Jail
- Units don’t matter for this type, only the time matters.
